Handing Over of BSF plant and Sanitation & Hygiene Awareness Campaign under WASH Project

Bio-Sand Filtration + Aeration with Community Handpump (BSF) with financial support of Helping Hand for Relief and Development USA/Nepal, has successfully been handed over to the management of Raj Devi School Golbazar Municipality Ward No. 03, Siraha District. With this filter plant, more than 300 students, staff, and community members have access to safe and clean water and can protect themselves from waterborne disease.

The ceremony was marked by engaging training and interactive sessions aimed at fostering a culture of sanitation and hygiene. Students received thorough training on WASH principles, complemented by the distribution of hygiene kits. Notable attendees included the Ward Chairperson, School Principal and Staff, esteemed social activists, villagers, and the team from HHRD.
