Yesterday night, Helping Heart Nepal distributed blankets to the homeless people of Kathmandu in an effort to combat the extreme chill of winter. The volunteers of the organization, who have been actively engaging in various charitable activities, carried out the task of supplying and distributing the blankets to people in need.
The Chairman of Helping Heart Nepal, in a statement, said, "It's our duty to extend our help to those who are going through difficult times. We are deeply moved to see the situation of the homeless people here in the city. As winter has already set in, it's very important that we keep them protected from the problem of hypothermia and other winter-related issues. We want to continue our efforts in delivering necessary materials to everybody in need."
The blankets were supplied to people living on the streets, who are especially vulnerable to cold and extreme weather. This act of kindness has been immensely appreciated by the homeless, who were desperate for help.
