Eid-ul-Azha holds immense significance for Muslims worldwide, commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience and devotion to Allah. This festival calls upon us to reflect on the values of sacrifice, compassion, and sharing.
At Helping Heart Nepal, strive to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. This year, our Qurbani initiative aims to provide wholesome meat to deserving families, ensuring they experience the joy and blessings of Eid-ul-Azha.
With your support, we can make a lasting impact. By contributing to our Qurbani project, you will enable us to offer big animals weighing between 130kg to 150kg (like Buffalo) and small animal of 35 kg (like Goats, Sheep), fulfilling the Islamic guidelines for Qurbani. The meat obtained from these animals will be distributed among the deserving families across Nepal, allowing them to enjoy this sacred occasion.
We understand that not everyone may be able to afford a full Qurbani donation. However, we believe that every contribution, regardless of the amount, can make a significant difference. If you are unable to offer a complete Qurbani, we encourage you to donate any amount that you can. Rest assured, your donation will be pooled with others, collectively ensuring that you contribute to the sacrifice of Eid-ul-Azha.
- As the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, "The son of Adam does not do any deed on the Day of Sacrifice that is dearer to Allah than shedding blood. It will come on the Day of Resurrection with its horns and cloven hoofs and hair. Its blood is accepted by Allah before it reaches the ground. So be content when you do it."
- In the Holy Quran, Allah says, "Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you" (Quran 22:37).
Thus, by participating in this noble act of Qurbani, we demonstrate our piety and fulfill our obligation to serve humanity.
